Step Up The Line e-Learning for New Line Dance Instructors

Wow! This is a very comprehensive and detailed programme.

Awesome program! I would have loved to have it when I first started teaching... thanks for investing so much into creating this for our new instructors. We need to keep line dancing going strong.

Every aspect of the training program was helpful and well put together. I think having a 8 week program set up for a new instructor is wonderful to get started to help take the pressure off PLUS I think the Instructor Consideration section with the Location, Venue, Cost and Establishing Legitimacy really gives us a lot to consider that I for one had not even thought about.

What an awesome course! This is a one-of-a-kind line dance instructors course . I’m thoroughly impressed with the content and knowledge that I have gained, the course is very thorough with lots of information and tips for a new line dance instructor like me. My course was funded by my local and provincial Career Services, and I am now teaching seniors in my community who are very happy to be line dancing, many for the first time. Even though I completed the course months ago, Step Up The Line continues to mentor me along my journey - always available and always very helpful. I feel fully equipped, confident, excited and grateful. Thank you!  

While I have more practicing to do, I now feel secure with, and can totally envision, teaching a line dancing class when I retire shortly. Thank you for bringing the joy and love of line dancing to others. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to learn and gain accreditation through this course. 

I have just completed the Step up the Line instructor program and I was blown away by how comprehensive it is in terms of a method of teaching and the content. After viewing all of the building blocks and videos I feel I now have the confidence to start teaching on my own. I have attended several classes in my area and can now identify things I would do differently, and I am looking at classes through a different lens. Wonderful course!

I found the complete program helpful. I am a visual learner so found the demo classes very helpful. The syllabus absolutely helpful to my teaching. A very informative online course.

This course was choc full of information. I have been teaching for just 4 months and wish I had found it sooner. There's so much in here that nobody talks about, or tells you as a new instructor. Running a class isn't just about being able to dance and teach steps. It would have saved me so much time and 'googling' to find information. I'm hoping that the next level Beginner syllabus will be added soon.
